Kotter's Disinformation

A Big One Off the Bucket List

Because of my job I've been really lucky and have had the opportunity to meet my share of bands over the years and sure, some of the experiences have been better than others.  But there's nothing quite like getting the chance to meet a band that you're a fan of, or in this case a really big fan of.  I've been a fan of Rush since the age of 10...the first cassette I bought  was Moving Pictures and I've even got the opening bars of "Lakeside Park" tattooed on my arm.  I think it goes without saying that they are easily my favorite band of all time.  So just image what I felt like when I found out I was getting Meet & Greets for their show in Atlanta?

Music has always been a big part of my life and Rush has easily been the largest piece for the past 25 years.  So to be able to shake the hand of Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson really meant a lot to me in a way that I can't even begin to explain.  And sure the Meet & Greet lasted all of 60 seconds and I'm just one of countless people they have met over the years, but it's a moment I will most definitely remember for the rest of my life.  Or at least until I'm old and senile.
