MUSIC NEWS: Metallica plays off Rivera

The New York Yankees honored retiring closer Mariano Rivera Sunday (September 22nd) in the Bronx, celebrating the future first-round Hall-of-Famer's 19-year career before the team's game against the San Francisco Giants. The ceremony, which included the retiring of Rivera's Number 42 and a performance by Metallica of his signature entrance song, "Enter Sandman," came as the Yankees' have just six games left to play in the regular season and dim prospects for getting into the post-season. Former manager Joe Torre and past teammates were part of the celebration for baseball's all-time saves leader, with Torre saying afterward, "He was about as good a security blanket as a manager could ever have."
