A hotel made famous by Stephen King's "The Shining" has announced plans to dig up a neighboring pet cemetery for a wedding pavilion. The Stanley Hotel in Colorado located in Rocky Mountain National Park inspired King to write the novel after staying in room 217.The hotel is already believed to be the site of paranormal activity. The ghost of Lord Dunraven, who purchased the land the hotel now sits on in 1872, is said to make ghostly visitations to room 418.
